With the upcoming scheduled WAPA outage planned for Sunday, Gregory P. Smith, Natalie, and several community volunteers have been collecting ice packs to help residents who need to keep refrigerated medication at a safe temperature.

These ice packs are being distributed free of charge to anyone who relies on refrigerated medications such as insulin.

Thanks to the help of volunteers, hundreds of ice packs have already been collected and will be available for pickup on Saturday, August 29th.

Reliable power is not just a convenience. For many residents, it affects health, safety, food, work, and everyday life. Until these problems are solved, we believe in doing what we can to help our neighbors prepare.
